1st Step… Free Consultation
– Discuss your needs and timeline
– Discuss available dates for the sale
– Review after sale options

2nd Step…You Decide
– Do you have a comfort level with us?
– Do you want to proceed with the sale?

3rd Step…Pictures and Inventory
– We will visit again and take pictures and measurements of large items
– Take an inventory of all large and valuable items being sold – We advertise large items online prior to the sale

4th Step…Begin to Prepare the Sale
– We sort, clean and organize all items being sold in the house
– We bring tables and display units to ensure items are shown tastefully
– We stage all items in their appropriate places in your home
– Research items to ensure they are priced at a fair market price
– We price and tag all items for sale

5th Step…Advertising the Sale
-Place advertisements
-Send an e-mail to our database of customers who attend our sales
-Plan where all signs in the area will be placed the days of the sale

6th Step…The Sale
– Assure there is sufficient staff to cover the sale indoors and outdoors
– Assure a professional and comfortable shopping atmosphere
– Put down paper or rugs to protect the floors and carpeting
– Sell your treasures

7th Step…Payment
– You will receive a summary of the sale and payment


Estate Sale Tips

-If you have a deadline to empty your home, it is best not to procrastinate. It normally takes two to three weeks to prepare a sale. It is best to contact, meet and select a estate sale company as far in advance as possible to reserve a date. Estate sale companies are busy year round and it may be difficult to get a sale date on short notice.

-Do NOT throw out anything! What you consider junk is someone’s treasure. All too often homeowners throw out valuable or saleable items.  Please leave the sorting and tossing to us.
